i got a fender prosonic 2 months ago and had all kinda problems with the ebay seller and paypal i got smoked bad and the tubes were smashed thanks UPS but i have retubed it and moved on and i'll have to say it has a great overdrive tone and a cool clean tone through my fender tonemaster 4x12" thick and crunchy lots of sustain and harmonics kinda boogieish (mark or .50cal+) and that is with the gain at 5 !!! i use it in the class A mode w/tube rectifier it sings!!! the clean is nice and crisp i'll have to say the more i play it the more i like it !!! :headbang: :smokin:

the clean blew me away, as well as the distortion which just has this soulful feelings in it like a starburst or something

like you know its packed with energy but it doesnt brag out all its energy, just leaves it sounding crispy good on the od

There still is a few modern Fenders that dispell the 'only the old stuff is good' statement. Besides the best stuff from the Custom Shop, the Prosonic and Pro Tube Series amps are really 'sleeper amps.' It's not till they're old that people start to pay attention. Prosonics were discontinued around 10 years ago, and I'll never understand why.

I am glad that you got things worked out. I like that amp. I spent some brief time with one and got nice clean tone and some nice overdrive too.. pretty versatile.

The pro-sonic, tonemaster, and vibro-king among other amps were designed by Bruce Zinky of smokey amps, and zinky amp fame. Great amps in my book. I have the tonemaster, and really like it. Even though you had tribulations getting the amp, i believe you will love the amp more and more.

i can't complain!!!! it is a great rock amp i have tried a couple of mods that bruce zinky listed on his site a while back and it makes this thing smoke !! simple stuff i'm waiting to try the new power transformer he makes that would kill in my amp but as it is now it is all rock and roll clean to crunch!!
