Hi, does anyone have wiring diagrams for a fender ultra. I can not locate any on the net.

Late 80's to early 90's. Like the Strat and Tele Plus models with the Lace Sensors and Wilkinson and then the LSR Roller Nuts, Ebony fingerboard and a couple other "add-ons".

Let me see what I can find. You can actually get away with any Strat diagram that has Lace Sensors. It doesn't have to be an Ultra diagram. Actually, look at the Jeff Beck Strat wiring diagram. Same Strat pretty much. That's what his first sig model was based off of.

Late 80's to early 90's. Like the Strat and Tele Plus models with the Lace Sensors and Wilkinson and then the LSR Roller Nuts, Ebony fingerboard and a couple other "add-ons".

Yeah, they are/were pretty cool. The shop I worked at had a nice blue burst one. That thing had such good tone and resonance to it. It was one of the best Strats I ever played.

The hardware seems to be great!
I'm not really into Lace pickups, but ebony fingerboards:7:

The weakest part of them to me was the bridge dually Lace Sensor. It just didn't hold it together well to me. The middle blue and neck (silver I think) was really nice. The Wilkinson wasn't the best roller nut either. The LSR is a much better design. Those are probably the only guitars with an ebony fingerboard that I like.

My dislike for the lace lensor pickups is more of a matter of taste, to my they lack that little something that makes a single coil sound great, can't really describe it..
Roller nuts are to high tech for me i guess, I prefer the good old bone nut.
(Yep i'm a weird guy)
