Fender Vibroverb Ri

Considering buying one of the brown ones that came out in the 90's. What can you guys tell me about this amp...........Thanks. I currently own a Super Reverb and a Deluxe Reverb. Comparisons??

Dave, I never played a original Vibroverb, But I have played a few vibrolux's (That I think are pretty much the same amp?) Playing a SF of BF Vibrolux is quite an Experience. Our mutual Buddy Tommy Gunn uses a SF Vibrolux and the guy that replaced him in our band Big Jim Kohler has a BF. I played the
Vibroverb at Ash a few years ago. It sounded pretty good , But lacked the Mojo of the Vibrolux's. If you can get a good deal on it? It could be worth it? But I wouldn't pay top dollar for it. Since you already have a Super and a VERY COOL Deluxe. This amp falls right in the middle of those two. So It maybe redundant? But then again... The guy with the most toys wins the game. LOL!! :dance:

Thanks Ken.... Yeah I made the guy an offer of 700. I was hoping it would have a little more headroom than my Deluxe. I love the Deluxe but it gets hard to keep it clean at higher volumes. Am I right in the fact that this is a 40W 2 6L6 Amp?

Before I'd drop $700 on it. I'd like to A/B it against a HRD for headroom and tone? I got my HRD used for $325. With good tubes it has plenty of clean headroom. It's 2 6L6's at 40watts 1x12. That would be a interesting shootout.
If you want to A/B it? Your welcome to borrow my HRD and A/B switch.

Thanx Ken.. I'll keep that in mind. I passed on this one though I just don;t think its the right amp for me. My Super woul probably smoke it:smokin:
