Thanks, I'll get another chance to assess them through my amp this week. The loser could be on Ebay by next weekend! You never know your luck eh? I wish I could keep them both.

A Fender is a better investment as far as resale value goes. G+L does make some good Strat and Tele Clones though.

Even though I'm a Strat guy, based solely on those pics I'd say the G&L is the looker. Maybe it's the pickguard but that Strat just looks kinda ho-hum. Maybe make yourself a Frankenstrat out of the best of each?

Actually I hate to say it but that's not so funny. Iif that Strat goes up on eBay there's a real good chance it gets sold to someone who'll part it out for other Frankenstrats since it does have some nice options.

IMHO, Fender is making guitars just as good or better than they ever have.

I'd love to mix and match to get the best result, but 1 of them will have to go so I've got to think about what I'm selling on. The Strat with G&L machineheads might raise a few eyebrows!! :saeek:
