Alright, so I finally got my tantulus FF (fuzz face) to work and sounds great......out of the box. However....when I put it in the box it stops working. What's the problem......grounding? I couldn't fit the huge transistors (2n3055) on one pc board with the rest of the stuff.....So I think that's the problem. I think one of the pc boards is touching the metal......grounding all the parts.....

So is there anything I can put on the bottom of the box to make so I can put the pc board with the giant transistors on the bottom of the box. Do you guys understand?

Would heat shrink work.....that seems to be pure rubber.

Electrical tape is an insulator too. :) Sounds like a grounding issue, if the electrical tape works, I'd look at otherways to mount the board. I like the plastic standoffs that have a sticky base that you screw the board to.

Which side are you mounting toward the "bottom" of the enclosure? Pics?

I could get pics but there are so many wires running back and forth from the two pc boards that it's ridiculous. It's like a 5 minute job just fit it in there. :smack:

I'll try the elctrical tape.

I got the grounding problem fixed with duct tape but every time I put the cover on there is a LOUD oscillation from the on/off switch. Is it because the wires are too long? That would suck.
