Fiberoptic sidemarkers almost done, satin Black Explorer

While fighting off a bad cold, I was able to do a little guitar work, so now I'm a bit closer to being done. All I've gotta do is finish up with the refinish, secure the strands in the channel (they are already sitting inside, I just need to keep them there :) ) and then reattach the fretboard. Then I'll clean it up...The fretboard is really dusty and dirty, but I'll bring it back up to 100% once everything is done.

Excuse the mess, I was tired last night and didn't bother cleaning up :p

thats awesome. what was the finish originally?

Thats cool. All you need now is one of those fingerboards with blue leds for the fret markers.

Yes- why stop there? How about lit pole pieces in the pups, or a lite up set of knobs too? Can you change colors like those plastic flower thingies at the dollar store?

I thought about that but I need some different fiber optic strands than what I have right now.

Monty Jay you're quite the miracle worker!! That's amazing.... It must take a lot of work to replace those fret markers.
