Its been a work in progress for the last week and I still have a few things to tie up, but it's coming together nicely. :)

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

Very classy board there! Whats the "Big Shot" pedal.... never heard of it... maybe a clean boost?

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

Pobably the best looking board i have ever see - FACT

Anything in TWEED is sooooo sexy !

I once thought of getting sexy underware for the GF in TWEED :) - or Tweed look-a-like !

Why are there sooo many cables going to the board ?

One for power, one going to the amp and . . . ?

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

I like it! I'm going to need a new board. I have a new amp coming!

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

Nice clean board! (The carpet under it on the other hand . . . . that could do with a vacuuming).

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

I like the tweed and how clean everything looks. Very Kool!

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

cool!

what all is on it? the wah, kot, pb1, and strobostomp i recognize but what are the others?

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

Who makes that board? At 1st I was sure it was a Trailer Trash, but apparently not.

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

20 thumbs up for pumaboards from me! that's what my board is and i couldn't be happier with it!

the tweed looks KILLER, nice clean setup!

Man's pimpin with the strobostomp 2.

It just so happens at the end of the pedalboard project my Strobostomp 1 crapped out on me (the poorly constructed/mounted plastic jacks were giving me issues and this time something finally happened to it). :( Since the SS2 just came out, I figured it was a sign I need to grab it (I like the metal jacks on it now - very rugged now and some of the new options are pretty cool).

You got it. It's a clean boost with an adjustable buffer. I use it in the FX Loop for pure volume boosts to cut through live with lead work (I hate getting buried in the band mix when it comes time for a solo). The adjustable buffer helps me to keep the high end in my signal intact through the long cable runs.

Hey Jeremy,

I've got this signal run as follows:

frontend of amp loop: Pro Analog Supaquack -> Radial Dragster (hidden underneath the board - wasn't sure of real estate at the time... it's an adjustable buffer and isn't footswitchable) -> Analogman King of Tone V4 -> Clay Jones OD -> Peterson Strobostomp 2

FX Loop: Radial PB-1 -> DLS Echotap -> Red Witch Pentavocal Trem

The only problem with it is the extra space on the board, that definitely needs to be taken care of :D I'm going to get an Analogman AR20DL analog delay pedal to compliment the DLS and I'm thinking about getting a Lovekraft Mojo Drive for some leads. That'll fill up the extra space and give me just a few more tones at my disposal.

Good question! :)

From left to right looking at the jacks you've got : (output to amp input), (output to send input), (output to return input), (output to guitar). The way my old pedalboard was was a nightmare (we're talking long cables all over the place) and I would inevitably trip over them. I like having a clean board to work with and setup is a lot faster now that there's a lot less plugging and unplugging. It's great having my FX Loop and amp/guitar inputs all grouped together for easy access.

The recessed receptacle by the Neutrik jacks is for the amp head to plug in. The male power plug on the right hand side of the board goes to whatever receptacle I can get 110VAC out of.

The small grommet is for my amps footswitch.

Yours wasn't too shabby either ;) Thanks for talking me out of getting one! :D I've been procrastinating on doing this forever, but in the end I couldn't be happier with the Pumaboard (Kevin is a great guy to deal with and he's the man that made the tweed happen... truly a custom board man).

The tweed Puma board is sick. Same with the rest! LOL

For years I've seen your gear and thought (I need to get that!), glad to get you back! :D

Very nice. What's that little red box that says "Shot" on it?

(I know . . . I could do a Google search, but it would be more fun to hear in your own words.)

Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard

You guys have seen the clean side of things, now for the ugly! :D

In order for everything to work out the way I was expecting, I had to modify my power strip. I have a power filtering Monster Power strip that kicks, but in its original form it was too wide to fit underneath the Pumaboard. Sooooo.... me in my infinite wisdom decided to hack it. The power filtering circuit was removed (where it was located, it never would have cleared the board) and placed inside a small junction box. The two outlets that were on the other side of the power strip got literally cut out of the equation and the insides of the rest of the strip were rewired and reconnected. Obviously the entire outer housing had to be modified and for my own protection I decided to use some good 'ole quality electrical tape to keep anything from ever being able to short out the strip (can't really do much when you have no plastic to work with). So now I get my power filtering still (it was hardwired back into the strip and the power jacks) and everything fits underneath the board (although not quite as neat as I was expecting). :)
