Re: Figured I'd show off my recent pedalboard
Thanks for the kind words guys, glad you all enjoy my latest project!

Man's pimpin with the strobostomp 2.
It just so happens at the end of the pedalboard project my Strobostomp 1 crapped out on me (the poorly constructed/mounted plastic jacks were giving me issues and this time something finally happened to it).

Since the SS2 just came out, I figured it was a sign I need to grab it (I like the metal jacks on it now - very rugged now and some of the new options are pretty cool).

Whats the "Big Shot" pedal.... never heard of it... maybe a clean boost?
You got it. It's a clean boost with an adjustable buffer. I use it in the FX Loop for pure volume boosts to cut through live with lead work (I hate getting buried in the band mix when it comes time for a solo). The adjustable buffer helps me to keep the high end in my signal intact through the long cable runs.
cool!
what all is on it? the wah, kot, pb1, and strobostomp i recognize but what are the others?
Hey Jeremy,
I've got this signal run as follows:
frontend of amp loop: Pro Analog Supaquack -> Radial Dragster (hidden underneath the board - wasn't sure of real estate at the time... it's an adjustable buffer and isn't footswitchable) -> Analogman King of Tone V4 -> Clay Jones OD -> Peterson Strobostomp 2
FX Loop: Radial PB-1 -> DLS Echotap -> Red Witch Pentavocal Trem
The only problem with it is the extra space on the board, that definitely needs to be taken care of

I'm going to get an Analogman AR20DL analog delay pedal to compliment the DLS and I'm thinking about getting a Lovekraft Mojo Drive for some leads. That'll fill up the extra space and give me just a few more tones at my disposal.

Why are there sooo many cables going to the board ?
Good question!
From left to right looking at the jacks you've got : (output to amp input), (output to send input), (output to return input), (output to guitar). The way my old pedalboard was was a nightmare (we're talking long cables all over the place) and I would inevitably trip over them. I like having a clean board to work with and setup is a lot faster now that there's a lot less plugging and unplugging. It's great having my FX Loop and amp/guitar inputs all grouped together for easy access.
The recessed receptacle by the Neutrik jacks is for the amp head to plug in. The male power plug on the right hand side of the board goes to whatever receptacle I can get 110VAC out of.
The small grommet is for my amps footswitch.

the tweed looks KILLER, nice clean setup!
Yours wasn't too shabby either

Thanks for talking me out of getting one!

I've been procrastinating on doing this forever, but in the end I couldn't be happier with the Pumaboard (Kevin is a great guy to deal with and he's the man that made the tweed happen... truly a custom board man).

The tweed Puma board is sick. Same with the rest! LOL
For years I've seen your gear and thought (I need to get that!), glad to get you back!
