Finally, finished my board. HOWEVER, i'm thinking of getting rid of the selling the Tweak Fuzz (As much as i like it, i don't really use it) for a STRATDELUXE Modded DS-1 or a Crunchbox. I just want some form of a distortion pedal on my board, but i'm still unsure of what.

I'm running a MIA Tele /w antiquities and a MIK Epi LP /w SDs into a Blues Junior.
Feel free to comment, on any suggestions or recommendations.

I'm just happy with my setup so i decided to flaunt it, although i know many forum buddies setups > mine, i'm content with mine and is perfect for what i do :)... Plus i'm totally broke now.

Re: finally got it set up.

I'm thinking even maybe a Lava Box? I haven't really heard or read much about it. But it'd fit perfectly into where my Tweak Fuzz is. Would it be too similiar to my hotcake and FDII? Taking into consideration i want something high gain.

Re: finally got it set up.

wow...all these nice, high quality pedals....and a danelectro mini pedal...lol

Great rig man, I like it. I'm about to add a dano (full sized though) to my rig for some fuzz.

Re: finally got it set up.

criticism abt the dano though, the input and output jacks are too close together and i can't use two flat head patch cavbles cause it won't fit. Hence my bright yellow one.

Re: finally got it set up.

Done some research, found a few options.
Replacing my Tweak Fuzz with a distortion pedal.
Help me choose.
1) Tonebone Hot British
2) Seymour Duncan Lava Box
3) STRATDELUXER97 Modded DS-1
3) MI Audio Crunch Box
How?
As you can see, i already have a hotcake and a FDii.

Re: finally got it set up.

I thought the hot cake was a distortion pedal? What does it sound like??

Re: finally got it set up.

It's a mid to high OD if anything. Not a Dist. It's got a fuzzy sorta character when you crank the drive, it's really quite cool. But yeh need a dist pedal.

Re: finally got it set up.

You already have a kick ass OD/Distortion pedal, why do you need another? Sell it/trade it and get a tremelo, octave, flange or pitch shifter ut of the deal. Something bad ass that you don't already have.

Re: finally got it set up.

I need someting heavier. Not like metal heavy but something more crunchy. I can get a pretty good crunch stacking the hotcake and FD but the settings i use for that are not the same as i would when i use em to lead.

Whats abouts a Skreddy Mayo?
