Hello again guys! I finally found some motivation to build a replacement for the FS4 that Laney makes (that is impossible to find). Ive had the schematics for almost a year, and found all the parts to do it. This past week I went ahead and ordered what i needed, which was 4 SPST switches, a 5 pin DIN cable with one bare end, a chassis mount DIN connector, and a DIN extension chord. Got the parts thursday, built it on Friday. I took a trip to home depot and bought a 1/4 thick sheet of poplar, and made a simple enclosure 3.5x8 with slanted sides. Didnt take me much time, cut it all with a bandsaw and used spade bits to drill the holes and countersinks. I forgot that the extension chord was a male/female and not male/male, so i couldnt use the chassis mount connector :smack: Stained it with a dark red mahogany, and i must say it doesnt look bad considering how much effort i put into it. Im thinking about making another (or a few) and putting them up on ebay.. i know people are in need of these things.
