Fine tuner is not catching string until nearly screwed down completely? Help!

I have a double locking Super V tremolo on one of my guitars and all of the other fine tuners are catching the strings just fine, with full travel of the fine tuner having effect. However, the G string fine tuner does not catch the string and take effect unless it is nearly screwed all of the way down. 90% of the screws travel is just play. How do I fix this? When the nut is locked, it needs a lot of tuning and I can not do this It was also just restrung and some of this issue before, but not nearly as bad.

That's more of an issue with the length of the fine tuner and whatever acts as the lever for that particular saddle.

maybe somthing is off. Given that your trem is a rather uncommon one, you better pay a visit to your tech. I dont know anyone who has this version.
