Well Cornish does rip it apart.....and uses about the chip only....on the older the faceplate and knobs are reused.
That chip was made for Roland as Christian mentioned, in another word, he makes a new pedal and uses the chip...
Have seen a few of those on the inside, nothing of the Boss pedal is left.

Anyways.....it is another delay in the endless rows of delays....which are as plenty as bugs these days....someday the strymons and others from now will just be filling up the masses, and something else will be the thing nobody can't live without....guitar logic
