Finish wear on saddles

The finish on the upper 4 of my bridge saddles has worn from black down to silver.
Rather than put new black saddles on my bridge how can I quickly get the black finish off the remaining 2 saddles without taking my bridge apart?

Have you got a magical wand you could use? A cutting compound and some rubbing would clean the rest up but you would need to take the bridge off and get to the saddles properly.

Remove bridge soak in muratic acid for about thirty minutes
The then drop in baking soda to neutralize the acid
Once the reaction stops, rinse with water and dry

If it works properly the exposed silver surfaces surfaces should
A, turn black. Or
B. The finish will have dissolved. Or
C. The whole thing is ruined.

Plan B. Is to buy another bridge.
