Finished upgrading my Pacifica 112M

Before and after pics of the Yamaha Pacifica 112M I was blessed with a few weeks ago. I replaced the stock bridge saddles and trem block. I also put a new pickguard on and replaced the stock pickups with a chrome covered Duncan 59 in the bridge, a DiMarzio Area 61 in the middle and a DiMarzio Virtual Vintage 54 Pro in the neck. I also upgraded the switch and volume and tone pots.

Unique take on an excellent modding platform. Kudos to you sir! Well done.

I get the SS saddles from Guitarfetish.com. They work great with the Pacifica stock trems. I can't stand the stock stamped saddles. Never liked them on any Strat-type guitar.

Yeah those set screws turn into meat grinders after a while.

About to order a few sets of those now. Thanks for the info.

Dang, combined with the 311H, you're all about Pacíficas today. I see that you as well are a fan of the often under appreciated HSS with a covered bridge.

I quite like that! I don’t usually like that type of pick guard but it works pretty good here.

The more I play this guitar the more I like it. The '59 is a good match for the neck/middle pickups IMO. While it has good output it's not too hot in comparison to the DiMarzio pickups. This guitar has a 500k volume and 250k tone and that helps keep the DiMarzio's from sounding too bright or thin and rolls off just a touch of the highs on the '59. It seems to work well so far. :)
