Looking for Real Life
well, i go down to my favorite local shop, and on the used rack, they have this fat tele, so i pick it up, and notice a few other things. A) this thing was like a red sunburst, it was hott. B) Not only did it have a humbucker (yeah it was a duncan) but the neck was routed for a single coil too, i dunno what it was, had an EMGish cover on it & no name, so who knows. C) there was an extra switch, and me, never playing a coil tapped guitar before, about wet myself, and had to go through all of the possible combinations & play them for atleast 15 mins.
I have to say, even though it was only s/h, this was one of the most versatile guitars i've ever played, i woulda taken it over the high end wolfgang on the wall, any day.
so now I'm convinced, i have to tap my strat, split the JB & have it combine with the lil '59. But uh...How do i go about doing this? and how much will it run me? I assume since it'll be tapped I'll have no problems finding a good combination...correct? The jb/59 should have a good mid since everyone & their grandma uses one
