anyone know anything about this muscle? its between the thumb and index finger, if you pinch it really hard itll hurt really bad.

actually, i have a bit of a problem, whenever i play bar chords, it starts hurting horribly. i first noticed it a while ago when i first started, but now, i started learnign to play a message by coldplay, and the whole thing being barchords, after a minute of playing it, it kills like none other and i have to end up stopping because i loose all the strength in my hand from the pain.
anyone know of any exercises or something that can ease the pain?
