First Female Friendly Guitar?

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

I meant her boobs, foo!!

You're a wise man. Self educated, or philosophy degree?
Well, the Boston public schools did some of the damage.

This thread is weird as #$%&.

At least there are a couple of pics of cuties to make it of value.

And ditto on the shout out to Ms. Wilkenfeld. She's awesome.

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

My, my. You don't like Ernie Ball's promo threads? Or Ms. Vincent, who did NOT design a guitar for females. She is the first female to design a solid body. She made it lighter, stranger, innovative, and I don't see anything wrong with that. Of course, if you're in it for the eye candy, you wouldn't understand these concepts.

What is so weird?
And what makes you assume that the value of a post is measured by your perspective?

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

Conventional guitar shapes already match conventional female shapes perfectly:

'Nuff said. This is the same nonsense that launched Daisy Rock guitars. I'm not knocking the equipment. (I love my Daisy Rock Classic with Slash AII Pro's.) I'm knocking the marketing.

Artie, Artie, Artie. I don't agree with you on the first point, (how the hell would you know?); but the second, a BIG FAT YES. Marketing is something that gets me going unpleasantly.

I've always about people saying whether or not a guitar is "woman friendly". Unless your bosom is so big than it hangs over your stomach, you should have no issues with a guitar shape smothering your chest.

Here's a picture of a guy holding a guitar with no ergonomics at a reasonable height:

And then this guy is holding is guitar at a "cool" level:

So in short, why is this a problem? If your guitar is so high it's not comfortable, just lower it, that's why straps are adjustable.

Well, some might consider such opinion equivalent with three eyed Appalachians. Or Cro-Magnons.

Oh lordy. You're clueless. Put some boobs (large) on and pick up whatever guitar you want. How can you presume to know???

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

And my elbow cramps from having to reach around the guitar. Did I mention I really dislike playing acoustic?

I only own one acoustic guitar and I don't remember the last time it's seen the light of the day, but I can't get rid of it because then I'll need an acoustic for some reason.

If you can hold a guitar a crotch level, and even then have a problem, you have worse problems to deal with.

How low can you go ... ?

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

Seriously!?
Get a Schecter.

For what its worth, Daisy Rock's are Schecters.

Thats cool. My first point was tongue-in-cheek. ;) (Tongue in something, anyway.)

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

Wasnt the Les Paul designed for women? It certainly isn't comfortable to men. They should make a male version.

Yeah, my Les Paul needs a cutaway in the back so I don't smash my wee wee everytime I go hard and get deep into a solo that requires movement from the guitar.
