Re: First Guitar - Which one to buy, MIM Strat HH or Epi Les Paul Standard?
I looked at the Agiles at rondomusic.com, they look really nice and affordable, but I'd prefer to buy my first electric guitar at a local store, so that I can try it out first.
I have not looked at PRS guitars yet, but I will.
So far, I really like what I read about Godin guitars at http://www.godinguitars.com/ about the quality and craftsmanship, I still have to find a local dealer that carries LG hmb.
The good in the MIM Strats is, that as someone said earlier in this thread, that it is a "small block Chevy" that you can get parts for anywhere in the world, i.e. I might have to move to Europe for an extended period of time and I am not sure how I could find parts and service on Godin.
What is an open question for me about Godin hmb is how well it can play and sustain higher pitched notes with two Humbuckers BUT an extremely well and tightly built, good resonance body.
