Once again, I've proved unable to save any substantial amount of money for a decent amount of time before buying a guitar :smack: FTR, I spend 99% of my money on guitars and cds. I don't spend money on clothes (I get slated by people I've never met for always wearing white T-shirts in videos haha - Ben
), hardly drink at all... my lifestyle is relatively cheap, or it would be if I didn't play guitar :laugh2:
About a month or so ago I picked up a Peavey Predator 7 string for £170 (about the price of a Squier strat over here).
It seems to already have a Dimarzio in the bridge (judging from the dual allen head rows design) and some kind of active boost (middle knob) which I think must be an EMG afterburner. 7s are very rare in the UK, and finding an upgraded one for £170 that plays and feels solid is not something that's going to happen again in a hurry..

Strings are 10-46 EB slinky set, with a 64 as the low B.
