Floyd nut to "Regular" nut conversion?

Has anybody used one of these before? I haven't found much in the way of info or reviews. $30 is a lot to drop on something that could be a complete piece of ****...

Well, Floyd is now making the retro Floyd like the originals without the fine tuners. May be for something like that

Eh, the nut option is cheaper and I don't mind the fine tuners.

You could also have a repair person glue a matching extension, sized for a regular nut. Its more $$ for sure. I'm making the assumption you are using something resembling a Fender style neck.

That's a good idea, actually! I thought about it before, but I searched the www and haven't seen it done before. I figured that was for a reason

I've had it on my Swing EZ-10 for about 4-5 (or so) years, no issues here.
Bear in mind that these are NOT drop-in-and-play. They are like any non-locking nut in the world, they need the touch of a good tech to work like they're supposed to.
