Floyd Rose String Alignment Issues

A friend of mine is building a Frankenstrat replica using a Warmoth body. He asked my to come by and look at the problem he's having with alignment. See where the neck meets the body in the picture. It currently just has the two e strings installed. The high e is barely on the fretboard. Me being a hardtail kinda guy I'm not sure what to tell him. Did he buy the wrong Floyd? As far as I can tell everything looks like it's been installed correctly including the neck. It's fitting in the neck pocket nicely.

I'm at a loss. Thought I'd check here and see if someone knows what's going on.

In most cases this is a neck alignment issue. With a bolt on it's easy to fix by loosening the neck screws and fiddling with it to get the alignment right. On this guitar it's fairly extreme, i.e. the bridge is located too far to one side and would require repositioning.

You can tell the neck is out of alignment. It looks cocked to me. Try to take it off and move it in the pocket.
If that doesn't fix it something was milled wrong.

Plus the intonation seems totally wrong. Maybe some stripped threads on any saddle screw holes?

no trem comes so badly setup from the factory. Might be smth fishy here, smth worse than "not yet done". An investigation of the plate's threads wouldn't hurt to begin with.

What ya on about mun? It must be a new project, or he cleaned all the saddles and hasnt done the intonation. Who knows but what ever the case is it really doesnt matter. haha love you bastards.

Took a closer look at the neck and that was the problem. Did exactly this and fixed it. The Floyd hasn't been set up yet. This is how it came out of the box.
