FootSwitch??

Hi, I've been debating for a bit now whether I should get a footswitch for my Vox VT50. Can any tell me the pros and cons of a footswitch.

I know that one major pro is that I can switch between presets quickly but is there anything else?

I honestly cannot think of a con of having a foot switch for your amp. You might not use it all the time; sometimes you'll be using just one channel/boost/whatever for a recording session or the same tone for a whole set. But when you want to change tones between songs or heck, within the same song, its much more handy to be able to stomp a button, and keep playing, rather than walk over to the amp and start turning knobs/flipping switches.

Pro: you will have a foot switch.

Con: you will not have the money you spent to buy the foot switch anymore.

There's not much more to it than that.
