Footswitching switches on amps?!

Dooodz,

One of the things I've ALWAYS wanted a solution for was a way to set something up to push a button, pull a pot, or flip a switch on an amp. Amps have so many tones available via boost switches, channel switches, etc. but many of those things aren't available at my feet. Anyone work out a way to make these things footswitchable?

You could potentially wire a footswitch in place of that switch... but the problem is that most of the time, the gain structures are so different that the volume gets out of whack. I'd love to switch between Vintage and Modern on my Single Recto's gian channel, but Modern is so much louder and brighter that without bumping up to a 3 channel Dualie, it would be pointless to have it footswitchable.
