For Sale Or Trade, RAILHAMMER ALINCO GRANDE, LIKE NEW....

View attachment 76419

I've got a brand new RAILHAMMER Alinco Grande (Chisel with a A5 instead of a ceramic) that I'd like to trade for a Zebra SH-14 Custom 5. I will consider SH-14's other colors or a similar pickup in Zebra, otherwise I'll let it go for $75 Shipped, P.P. Gift or add 3.5 % for fees....

Sorry for the stock photo, if you'd like to see the actual pickup let me know but it pretty much looks like that!!! Comes with springs and screws....

Great sounding pickup. I like Railhammers in general and the Grande in particular.

The AG is actually wound a bit heavier than the Chisel but it's made with thinner 43 gauge wire. The output of the two seems comparable. I tend to prefer alnicos to ceramics personally.

Here are the DCR readings I got for mine:
Alnico Grande bridge: 14.92K
Chisel bridge: 13.18K
HyperVintage bridge: 8.57K
HyperVintage neck: 7.6K

Yes, you are correct sir!!!

I was just trying to relate it in the simplest terms to something that people might be familiar with... The Alinco Grande is warmer & rounder than the Chisel & it doesn't have that almost JB-ish Mid-Spike? It's also extremely versatile, articulate, powerful, & they've got great "CUT"!!! It sounds great clean, it sounds even better dirty, and it holds together really well for drop tunings.....
