Does anyknow know the difference between the LTD H-1001 (top) and the H-351 (bottom)? Seems to me they're the same guitars (same construction, same materials).

And what's the difference between the neck through models of the M and the MH series (Both LTDs as well)? Apart from colors and some inlays (and headstock), I can't really spot any difference.

on the two top pictures, the bottom guitar is missing/has different binding.

First, the MH series is a hybrid of the H series and the M series (pointy headstock, flat top), apart from the headstock, they don't differ from the other H series.

Then, between the 1001 and the 351... The 1001 is a Deluxe. Deluxe series are built in Japan and Korea, LTD Standards are built in China and co. The Deluxe series are better crafted, higher quality, and some are even quality controlled in the USA, so overall, the Deluxe series are better built. Also, the Deluxe has locking tuners, the 351 doesn't, the Deluxe has a Tonepros bridge, the 351 has a cheap bridge, and the Delxe has a bound fingerboard.

The 300 series are very good instruments, the Deluxe series are still an improvement but, if you have the money, go for a real ESP, they are the shizz.

Yeah, I think the next guitar will be an ESP Horizon (since finding a Charvel 750 XL is like looking for a needle in a haystack). Seems like the best choice for LP/Superstrat crossover.

Re: For those experienced with ESP/LTD

I can only tell they are great instruments. I have a LTD 50 series and a real ESp, have owned a LTD 100 series bass for some time, my fellow guitarist has a ESP Horizon, thet are all very solid and reliable guitars. Get yours ;)

Re: For those experienced with ESP/LTD

As we all know, My guitar is the best guitar ever. It happens to be an LTD 260. That means it sucked large balls when I got it, but I removed piece by piece and personally made it the best guitar. Ever.

GET THE 1001. It has a better nut and bridge, better cosmetics, and is probably put together better.
