While Grover Jackson built the Concorde and RR-1, Karl Sandoval was responsible for the Polka Dot vee, and has been building replicas for year. Without Delores Rhoads permission, this is just another V copy, though a very well built one

I've seen this, and while I envy the guy that won the guitar, I really don't think it's that great looking. It may very well play, and sound like a dream, but, give me a Jackson RR1 any day!
