Like Lex and sosomething, my first thought was "If they're going to do this doesn't it make sense to make a Ford Mustang MUSTANG!?!?!?!" The finish is nice but I'm not a Mustang/Ford fan so I could care less.

Mr Turtle: Makes more sense in that case because if the Mustang is less popular, why not try to push more mustangs?

DUH.

I'd rather have that. Push the mustangs, everybody is going to get a tele or a strat sooner or later, but the mustangs never get any love.

And fender had a Mustang strat a few years back.

That's one of the ugliest teles i've ever seen.

yeah really, it's just a red tele with "mustang" and the mustang graphic.

there's nothing special about this guitar at all.

It's just a regular telecaster.

THIS is a Cobra...basically a two seat go-cart with a 427ci engine.

Back on topic, if that Tele plays and sounds nice, and you can get past the paint job...:scratchch

actually, that second one isn't a cobra at all. it's a factory five kit car based on the 425ci version of the cobra that more than likely has a ford 5.0 efi engine. not saying it is a 5.0, but probably you can tell because of their "signature" 2 inch roll bar as opposed to the original shelby's 1 1.2" inch roll bar.
