All right you guys all wanted another jam track so let's see how this one goes.

This one is a tribute to the Ventures and all the killer surf guitar bands of the 60's. You can do the whole track or any part of it you like. Friday night I'll post where to send them and I'll take submissions until late Sunday then I'll mix it down. Have fun, now wax up those boards and get cookin'

I like the track, but we seriously need to reduce the length.

If 20 of us have a go at it, that's almost 40 minutes of 'music'.

Might I suggest we choose a segment of 30 seconds out of it?

Even that is 10 minutes by the end.

I'll volunteer to play something to the quieter 'bridge' section that sounds like old Fleetwood Mac.

If we sort of divide it up so that a few of us play the quieter bit and others play the riff section it will end up far more interesting.

You can do what you like to it. Judging by normal responses I doubt we'll have 20 people jump in but if we do I'll break it up into a few tracks 1-5, 6-10, etc.

I'd rather everyone do their own thing. Step out a little don't worry what somebody else did. I am not posting until it's all mixed mostly because I won't have time to keep doing additions to it but also because I think it'll be cool just to see how people interpret it without being influenced by other takes on it.

Yeah I love the M-Ventures, did you check the video out? They're so stoic they need to lighten up a bit :dance:

Wattage, I will work on the track this w/e. Hopefully, I can pull something off that works. I don't know the 1st thing about surf-rock ...

YESSSSSS finally!

Ok, I'll try to record something this weekend...

I'M RESERVING THE SECTION AT CIRC 1:00, when the main riff is brought back... for about 15-20 sec.
