Found something interesting about some guitars I got..

Re: Found something interesting about some guitars I got..

Backinnaday, when everyone was going wireless, Jeff and George stated in an interview that they felt wireless robbed you of your tone, so they had custom-made 100+ foot cables so they could run around the stage. I saw Dokken open for Twisted Sister on the Come Out And Play tour, and Jeff Pilson was hopping around on one foot, got tangled in his 100 foot cable, and fell over. Techs came out and had to cut the cable to get him out of it. The next week, George did the same thing.

Two months later, they were both in a Nady wireless ad.

That's funny. First time I saw Priest was in a small venue in south Florida (Sunrise Musical Theater). They opened with Electric Eye. Glen entered stage right and Ken entered stage left. Ken tripped over a cable run, landed belly first on his guitar. Got right up and carried on but was out of tune. The crew had him another guitar in seconds. The whole mishap probably lasted under 10 seconds. You could see a little bit of an embarrassed smile on KK's face. I remember having a lot of respect for how well oiled the machine was.
