"Four on the Floor" is Done

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

Very very cool!!!! Nice job, I can definately see how you could get a little burnt towards the end.
BTW..... do you have it wired so you can power the entire 4 effects with one AC adapter? I would imagine so, and if so, it's EVEN SWEETER!!!!
I WANTIE I WANTIE!!!!!

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

man that came out cool! now you're making me regret doing single pedals for my latest builds and not doing one monster size pedal. oh well an excuse to build more pedals down the road LOL. they're as addictive as building guitars for me!

again very cool, NICE WORK and a great idea!

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

Nice, came out really sweet. Hows that chorus sound compared to a CE-2/CE-3 or Small Clone?

If I only can finish up some of the builds I've got going, I'll make one giant uber-post when they're done.

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

That thar looks SAWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! Excellent work BBent!

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

I have to give some mad props to all of you guys that gave me your ideas! The most props goes to my friend Andrew who helped come up with the logo and designed it and got the layout spot on! After that he was kind enough to laser in the logo at his shop!!

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. This was a blast, but honestly took a lot out of me. I owe Lindsey a nice dinner out this weekend since I didn't talk to her on the phone for about a week in the evenings too!

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

Nice work! It looks pretty professional all the way around, but I guess you're not going to be too excited about making another one for me...

Dude if you bought all the stuff and sent it to me I would be happy to make you one. Just give me a month to recoup!!

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

Can you explain why it has three input and three output jacks? It's a cool pedal, but I'm not understanding all the jacks. Shouldn't it be a simple in/out?

You are missing 2 of the jacks. There is an in on one end and and out on the other. I did it this way to have the ability to route as many different ways as my heart can want. I could route things in front of other things if I so desired. I almost thought it was silly in the beginning, but stuck with my idea and now am glad I did!

Gotcha. Very smart idea. So do you have to put jumper cables back there for everything to work, or does it just chain everything by default if you have nothing plugged in there?

I wish, but I am not that smart yet!

Here are some pics of the killer LEDs I used! The pic is fuzzy, but you can at least get the point!!

Re: "Four on the Floor" is Done

Very cool. I'm curious about the cost, after all was said and done? That's an admirable project. Some of you guys make me feel stoopid! LOL
