Fresh (some guitar)

Re: Fresh (some guitar)

Sounds good. I've listened to your clips in the past but I'm not sure if I ever commented. You have a good ear and know how to compose a good tune. Keep it up.

Sounds good, man. What equipment did you use to record this? How do you master the tracks once you lay them down?

thank you! Most of the tunes are put down in one or two takes so I don't know if they are refined but I do it for the fun of it!

My guitar was a semi-hollow (a harmony made 335 knock off) into my guild maverick. the "bass part" was my Fender Musicmaster into my octave multiplexer into my ampeg VR bass microamp

the microphone was an AKG cheapo that I got free with my lexicon Lambda interface. Pretty cheap setup. My DAW of choice is Adobe Audition. I think I had minimal Parametric EQ and a TAL DUB-II VST delay on the guitar. The tremolo was on the amp. Mastering may have been a small amount of limiting, a little bit of widening and maybe a small, small amount of an exciter. Unless otherwise mentioned, all of it was the plugins built in to Adobe.

also, I used my m-audio QV40 Studio philes for monitors...not exactly kosher but it works.
