I have a mineral oi/ / lemon oil combination product that darkens the wood. Anyone know of a protectant that lets the wood keep its natural light color?
+1. Most rosewood I'm familiar with has a natural darker color. Drying out lightens the appearance.maybe the light color is due to draught? (i.e. not natural)?

Rickenbacker must know. Many of their fingerboards appear almost pink.

I prefer lemon oil, as long as it's true lemon oil and not a lemon/mineral oil mix.
