Friedman Guitars?? Splawn Guitars?

I see on the Friedman site that they will be making guitars pretty soon too. any word on them??

I had asked once before about Splawn Guitars, but that was awhile ago.. Any experience with them?? Their take on the super strat..

I'm curious about the Friedman guitars, that's news to me.

Not sure what the point of the Splawn guitars are, though. Plain, made-in-USA Super Strats...nothing new there, from what I can tell.

Friedman always makes top notch stuff so I'm sure the guitars will follow suit. They will be pricey.....

Just a reminder, back when Grover Jackson did a QnA here I do remember him professing his love for the Tele (Which I found interesting at the time seeing as he is kinda the daddy or at least the godfather of the superstrat) so if that is any indication I can better understand the following:

Good Point Bro!!! I was taken aback by that too as he is , in my eyes "mr shred guitar" .. I woulda said mr superstrat, but that wouldnt cover the neck thrus and V.

Masta C, Yeah, was kinda like "why" too, but Splawn makes amazing amps and supossedly the guitars are very nice as well. But he is sticking to the vein that he loves and so an 80s type shred axe to go with the hotrodded marshall toned amps.. And not going wild trying to be Suhr
