FS: '59 Neck HB, PRS Dragon II HB

I've got a nickel covered '59 Neck bucker (7.6k) with a long 2 conductor lead. Asking $43 and that includes shipping here in the US.
Also, I've got a nickel covered PRS Dragon II bass/neck pickup (8.2k) with the 3 conductor lead that they use. I got it for the bridge position which is what it's good for now since the leads have been cut to 6". I ended up putting a 59 hybrid (59 neck/59 bridge) in the bridge so I don't have a use for this one. Asking $35 and that includes shipping. The leads were cut short when I got the pickup.

Sale pending on the '59 neck bucker.

I've still got the PRS if anyone is interested....please....
I'll drop the price to 30 bucks.

Oh screw it, I'll bite on the Dragon! I'll just throw it into the bridge position even though its a neck pup. I'm thinking the Dragon II Bass in the bridge and the Pearly Gates Bridge in the neck just might do the trick, even if its all topsy turvey! ;)

PM sent!

Sumitagarwal, sometimes weird combos like that turn out to be surprisingly good. Hope it works out for your V.

Thanks, Fusion. I'm excited... wondering if it'll be anything like the PG/Custom combo a lot of people seem to like.

Sumitargarwal, interesting you mention that Custom/Pearly Gates combo. I have an Agile Les Paul Double Cutaway and I had a Custom (bridge)/PG bridge (in the neck position). Worked great. I swapped the Custom for a Custom/59 hybrid, and then back to the old standby (for that guitar) my JB ceramic or Distortion Lite.

The Pearly Gates bridge in the neck is great. I love that nasty gritty sound. Reminds me of what I like in the Gibson 496R ceramic pickup in the neck position.

sumitagarwal -sent a reply to your PM.

As far as putting a neck HB in the bridge... early on they just made a pickup and put it in the guitar. You'll need to drive it more with the amp since it doesn't have the power of some of the dedicated bridge pickups. But it will be a little "smoother" when played clean. Now putting it with a much stronger pickup in the neck could give some balance problems.
Slash plays lower power pickups as compared to other players in the hard rock/metal field and he seems to get plenty of edge and volume.
