I'm looking to sell my '68 Fender Vibrochamp. This is was the first-year silverface model with the aluminum trim around the grill. Basically blackface specs with silverface cosmetics. Externally, it showing its age. The tolex is a bit torn up, mostly on the bottom.
Internally, it's in good shape. It's had the basic mods needed to modernize it and keep it working: a 3-wire power cord, new power switch, and a cap job. The new bias caps are Sprague Atoms and the filter cap is a Mallory multisection. The rest is pretty much original. I have pictures of the insides if you want them. The speaker is a recent Fender replacement.
It does a great Fender clean sound, and starts to break up a bit around 5. The vibrato is fantastic, and I'll throw in the mouse footswitch I made for it - hey, it works, and it's good for a laugh.
