Sunday 1/11 Update: NEW NAME-YOUR-OWN BLOWOUT PRICING. SEE BELOW.

We're still unpacking boxes from out move last summer, and it's time to face facts: we simply don't have room for all our stuff. So, I'm thinning out the guitar library, hanging onto only the stuff I use, and letting go of the "nice to haves". I'd like to pass these along to my guitar-playing bro's at the SDUGF.

Prices DO NOT include shipping. I'll figure that out once I know who's buying what, but I'll pass shipping through at cost.

Keep checking back - it will take me several posts to get it all listed.

First up:

Make Your Own Electric Guitar by Melvin Hiscock, Second Edition, 1998. Paperback, 218 pages. Highly recommended by the DIY guitar-building crowd. SOLD

Re: FS: Assorted Guitar Books & Magazines

Assorted Guitar Player magazines. These are some special issues that I've hung onto, but no longer need. Great for you young guns who want some guitar history, or capsule descriptions of some classic players/tones/events. $2 each

  • July 1999, Strat Masters - Jimi on the cover. Hendrix, SRV, Clapton, Beck, more.
  • September 2003, Jeff! - this wasn't really a special issue, but hey... Jeff Beck on the cover. That's special in my book.
  • January 2004, 50 Years of Fender Strats - SRV on the cover. Article on cloning SRV #1, plus a Wacky Strats photo gallery.
  • October 2004, The 50 Greatest Guitar Tones of All Time - Angus Young on the cover, plus a great color close-up of a wine red Angus signature SG.
  • April 2005, The 101 Greatest Moments in Guitar History - Jimi again.

That's it for now. Check back - maybe some more coming as I sift through the boxes.

Bump with prices cuts. Somebody must still want these old-style, information-printed-on paper kind of knowledge-transfer devices.
