FS: Epiphone Firebird Studio

Wattage

High Voltologist
2007 Epiphone Firebird Studio - $375 plus shipping

Mahogany body, set mahogany neck, and Alnico Classic humbuckers, satin cherry finish. 24-3/4" scale, dot fretboard inlays, stopbar tailpiece, and chrome hardware.

Pickguard has been upgraded to a Gibson Firebird guard (the bird on the factory guard looked like a 3 year old drew it). The original Steinberger tuners were replaced with Schaller locking tuners, I can put them back on if you'd prefer but I don't recommend it. The factory Bridge pickup was replaced with a Bill Lawrence L500L, factory bridge pup available. I also buffed the Epi logo off the truss rod cover.

The guitar comes with an Epiphone rectangle hardshell case built to fit the Firebird.

The guitar is in excellent condition.

Re: FS: Epiphone Firebird Studio

Cash crunch is over so I guess I would consider trades, not sure what though?

I am not looking pedals or computer recording gear fwiw.

I would be hip to a Les Paul Jr. amp or even one of the Epi 5wt heads plus some cash, a nice 2x12 16 ohm cab might work, something cool in the guitar family would be all right too. I have given up on anything that isn't Les Paul based so Jr's, Specials, Melody Makers are all cool. Even some of the knock-off Standards would be considered especially Gold Tops or black Customs. I don't know hit me with something if you want me to consider it.

Oh yeah a bass might work too, I am especially fond of the MIM Telecaster bass.

Re: FS: Epiphone Firebird Studio

Let's see, I've got an epiphone Valve Jr (not sure if I wanna get rid of it though) and I have a Fender MIM fretless jazz bass as well as an Epiphone Joe Pass jazz box (not quite les paul, but Paul does play jazz!) :) Let me know. maybe I can find something else.

Re: FS: Epiphone Firebird Studio

i've got a valve jr head with the matching cab. cab is stock with the 16 ohm, 75 watt Eminence Lady Luck speaker. i doubt i would part with it though

i have a seymour duncan Livewire Metal pickup, as well as a Hot Rails. Wanna trade for one or both of those plus cash?

Re: FS: Epiphone Firebird Studio

hmm, I haven't been home in a day. Interesting stuff - let me think about it and I'll let you know.

I am kind of leaning towards an Epi LP, prefereably a GT so I throw a Bigsby on it but who knows?

Sorry I am just shot right now.
