So I've got a couple of pieces here that I'm going to unload.
First up is an Ibanez RG7420 7 string, with a kick butt custom paint job (pink with purple metal flake). It has had the neck cavity, switch and knob holes filled so it is a single humbucker, single volume rock machine. It's loaded with a DiMarzio Evo 7 which completely screams, and stays very tight on the low B. No case, & I will disassemble to ship. I'm putting the value at $350.
The only issue with it is if you hold the guitar at just the right angle, you can see where the neck cavity was filled. But, I guarentee that from 5 feet away you can't see it. And I can't get an accurate pic of it either.
Why am I getting rid of it? The Wizard neck is too thin for me. My hand actually starts going to sleep after a few minutes of playing it. I switch to my 6 string guitars with fat necks and I've got no problems.
Here's a couple of pics. More on request.
Next up is a partsocaster I slapped together. It has a Mojo Bodies two piece mahogany Tele body, loaded with a Carvin FT6 string thru fixed bridge, black A5 59/Custom trembucker and zebra 59/Distortion pickups. It sounds great cranked through my 5150, and really maintains the snap and articulation of a guitar of this type. It has a Warmoth birdseye maple neck with the fat back profile and jumbo frets (I believe). The neck is amazing, huge, fat, thick, monsterous, and very comfortable for me to play. The neck has a glossy, factory finish on it and I tung oiled the mahogany body.
The only issues with it are some extra holes from pickup ring installation gone wrong and some messed up routing under the bridge pickup which was done to allow longer mounting tabs to fit. None of this is visible when the guitar is assembled, but it looks pretty stupid when the pickups are out. And a different set of tuners were installed on the neck before I got it, so there are some additional holes on the back of the headstock as well.
I'll value this guitar at $350 as well and it, too will ship disassembled and shipped with no case. Here's a pic when I first completed it. It currently has the zebra 59/Distortion hybrid in the neck slot. It's currently set up with 10's and ultra high action. You'll probably want to change that to your own personal preference.
