It is a good amp for sure.

I actually just bought masta c's Substi-Tube EL84 converters today, specifically for this amp.

I don't dislike the amp at all, I am just curious what I can get from a more British flavored amp - you know, after owning one for a while and really getting into it.

So, for now, I'll put these EL84 converters in place of the 6L6s and see what that yields me - could be great, could be crap, but will definitely be interesting!

I'm more interested in finding new tones than getting rid of this amp / getting another amp.

Put this Road Worn neck on your Strat, and get the feel of a relic without the goofy relic look.
