It would make for a great project guitar

- Humbucker-Single-Humbucker versatile setup (again, no pickups included)
- 24 frets, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fretboard, REVERSE Headstock!

Yes. Shipping's on me. I was told that it's a basswood body.

That's a hell of a deal! I'd jump on it if I had the dough. Perhaps if it's still around on the 1st.

Ah, just found out the body is alder! Can you please pm me some pics? Thanks!

Re: FS: Jackson PS-4 Guitar (Reverse Headstock)

I thought these were Poplar too but I checked the 1997 catalog and indeed the PS-4 is Alder.

EDIT: The PS-3 Rhodes model is Poplar.

Weird... a friend of mine have one of these and I'm pretty sure his one is poplar :scratchch

I could be wrong, but I found a few places online that say it's alder. Maybe just the older ones are alder.

Edit: D'oh... Didn't see Fusion's post.

I've never played a Performer Series, but if it's half as good as a Dinky Reverse from the Professional Series, then this is a good deal. I'm guessing this PS-4 has the Jackson JT-500 trem and not the Schaller made JT-590? That would be the only negative I could see as the JT-500 isn't that good and is even below the Takeiuchi JT-580 / Ibanez TRS-II Trem standards.
