if its still under warranty just break it in someway thats unnoticable, and return it to where you bought it, that way you get you full refund :naughty:
for example, blow some electronics in it. best buy or places like that have more on their minds than to go about and check it themselves, so theyll just give you a refund and you'll be on your way. (if they allow cash refunds)

I got it from Gamestop and they don't offer refunds. Instead all they would do is give me a new console. lol
