Seymour Duncan Customer Support
It's with no small degree of resignation that I offer my dead mint 2008 Paul Reed Smith Mira up for trade. I'm just not bonding with it. It's too nice. It plays too well. This guitar should be in the hands of someone with a nice, light touch - not a cro-magnon fistpicker like me.
Specs:
- Made in the USA
- Powder Blue finish
- "Regular" neck carve (super comfy!!)
- Mahogany body and neck
- Indian Rosewood fretboard
- 24 jumbo frets
- 25" scale length
- PRS Mira Treble and Bass pickups
- Volume, Tone, 3-way blade switch and coil tap mini toggle
- Weighs around 6.5 lbs
Condition:
mint! perfect! dead stock - no mods. Will ship with OHSC and all trimmin's and fixin's.
Description:
Light, extremely resonant, perfectly balanced on a strap - this thing is ergonomic genius. It balances like a Katana sword. The action insanely low. It's a legato player's dream. LOUD acoustically. This is the one guitar I own that when I sit down on the couch with it in the evening to plunk around, my girl says "Could you please play a different guitar? I'd like to be able to hear the TV."
I bought it because I thought it would be like a slick, refined SG with better balance, more versatility, and better playability. It turned out to be all those things and more, but unfortunately for me "slick and refined" just isn't congruous with my playing style, and while I'm sure the Mira could easily withstand the abuse, I should really be playing instruments that reward me for it instead of just withstanding it.

What I'd be interested in:
Make me an interesting offer! I won't be sending this to Ebay, but I will be posting the same thing on TGP.
I'm primarily interesting in guitars or amps of similar value, but the right trade plus a little cash would be considered also.
Want some ideas?
How 'bout a nice USA Fender Jazzmaster?
A cool SG with P-90s?
A Firebird?
An ESP Eclipse or Viper plus a few bucks?
An EBMM Albert Lee or Silhouette?
A nice USA G&L?
An Ampeg Dan Armstrong in good condition with both pickups?
Who knows, man. If you want this guitar, are in good standing around here, and think you have something worth trading, drop me a reply or PM.
