Full Shred Bridge

I was just wondering who out there has a Full Shred Bridge, and how you like it. I was also wondering did you wire it parallel or in series. I am planning on putting one into my Jaguar and just wanted some opinions.

Thanks!

Re: Full Shred Bridge

I do, it's probably the best bridge pickup that fits my tastes. It's wired in standard series although it was parallel for a while (tech's bad gaffe).

For me I really want real good string definition that borders on P90/Tele areas but with much more beef. My only complaint would be that I'd like just a *teeny* bit more bass when it's in my guitar with the alder body. Mahogany and in darker Poplar it's great.

This is me playing away with seriously dead strings ... I'll try and do something else soon (with new strings)

My Full Shred rules!!

I have one in my ash 2002 American Strat and I love it(the one in my avatar). It has great definition, just like Prophet says. Now, mind you, I like bright tones. This pickup has just enough body to suit me and I think the bass is the way it should be, nice and tight. This thing will drive an amps pre-amp section quite well without a lot of mush. I like the JB as well, but with my current setup, the FS does its job in spades.

Good luck and hope the FS works for you as well as it does for me!

Danke ... really all is the Full Shred and the Line 6 Flex. A little at the end is the '59 and stock single coil

Re: Full Shred Bridge

I've got a Full Shred bridge pup in a reissue V, and it's a great sounding unit. They're probably not quite as high output in the bottom end as an Invader, (probably due to the magnets) but they have a LOT of output, and you can always tweek the amp.
