Full shred neck clips here

Since Sune didnt need the clips anymore i figured i would just create another thread. I got a new mic a while back and had been wanting to record some decent clips of the full shred in action. One is all clean, i know someone here will recognize the clip. The second is with Mr. John Spina's modded SD-1 with full gain, equal level, and tone knob about 1/3 of the way. Nothing particular in the clip.

Man, that's quite close to the actual Opeth tones. I'm sure the amp plays a role in that as well though.

Yea.. thats pretty much the stuff he used for that album. I just dont have a FS in the bridge to get all the other sounds. I think ill stick with my custom for now

please, can you post some LEAD work in the neck with full distortion?
Also.. if you have the duncan custom bridge, post some riffage too, with full distoriton, of course.

Well i would have to do it through my line6 guitarport, cause the mic i have doesnt take loud noises very well. I have to mic the back of the cab in order to get a decent sound with heavy distortion, or it sounds extremely nasal. I could try, but i cant do it until my roommates are out.. which would mean the weekend.
