Full shred set or pegasus/sentient for schecter c-1

I'm wanting to replace the Blackouts in my Schecter Blackjack Atx C-1. I was planning on replacing them with the full shred set, but after looking around online I found several people saying that the pegasus was a better choice than the full shred. I have played the full shred in the past and liked it well enough, but I've never tried the pegasus. How do the 2 compare?

Edit: I should add that I am playing through a Peavey 6505+ and play a variety of styles such as classic rock, metal, hard rock, and instrumental stuff like Joe Satriani and Andy James.

Both sets would be a good choice for your Schecter. Personally I would prefer the Pegasus/Sentient combo. It will offer both clarity and balls. The Pegasus has a bigger bass thump to it compared to the Full Shred, but still remains articulate and tight enough. So it kind of depends on what you want from your guitar, if you want maximum clarity go for the Full Shred set, if you want more balls, bigger bass respons but still want to keep it articulate, go for the Pegasus/Sentient set. Hope this helps! ;)

How does the pegasus/sentient handle cleans? All of the good quality demos I've seen were down tuned metal

I like the Pegasus/Sentient set, too. But I would consider the Full Shred set if you have a particularly dark sounding guitar. They are probably the brightest passive set SD makes.
