Well, everyone in here was right
Doing a break in process on my Mojave cabinet made the G12H30s loosen up and sound smoother, more realxed, with a 3D tone and balanced mids. The highs blend now.
The speaker was stiff, and I guess the cab was NEW NEW NEW with almost no time on it when I got it (re: used). I took my 100w Marshall and put it on a decent level and played loud chunky open chords for a while, other such things. I will run CD's thru it next.
The cab now makes sense with my Bogner.
Gorgeous sound and feel!
These speakers are a keeper. I would rather NOT touch the cab, and id I want the Vintage 30 blend I will just use another cab at the same time. I really like the G12H30s in a 4x12 both on clean and gain. Rich tone, warm, sweet break up, and that classic Crunch you always knew and loved - smooth to the last drop!
