GE-10 in front or in the FX loop?

I have a SD-1 for certain sounds but where should I put my EQ? I heard things about putting it in front of the amp but also in the loop.
If I put it in the loop do I go for a boost or unity gain? Is it safe? Before or after my delay in the loop?

EQs can go anywhere. My preference is to put it anywhere after gain pedal and before the amp's input. A lot of people like how they sound in the effect loop, so feel free to try different things.

I use mine in front of the amp. I think it more versatile that way. I can boost or cut my signal and still use amp distortion to give it some dirt.

I like them both. You can get a nice boost to the pre amp in front, but I mainly use mine in the loop for a solo volume boost, plus you can shape it as well. Works great both ways though. Just gotta try it both ways and see what works for you. You won't hurt anything either way.

I prefer it in front of my amp because I use it for more "Gain" for soloing....if i was to use it strictly for a "Volume boost" i'd put it in the effects loop..either way it was the Best $40USD I've spent
