Man I've been experimenting with leggato and tapping lately because I've been trying to play some monster licks that I've come up with. The intervals are so wide on some of them that string tapping is the only way to play them. The problem is that I'm coming thru a clean amp with a traditional jazz clean tone.
Its hard to make these techniques as audible as I would like them to be without some sorta boost. Therefore I need to find some sorta boost that will not distort the traditional jazz tone. Of course once boosted I'll probably have to also become a genius at muting strings! :newangel: :grumble:
