Genesis/Pink Floyd inspired prog bit

TwilightOdyssey

Darkness on the edge of Tone
This is a small section of the super-massive prog piece I'm writing, and thought I'd share. All of the guitars were tracked as DI's and then reamped through my EAST Studio 2 into a Randall iso cab; speaker is a V30, mic is a Sennheiser e609. Mic cable is a BLUE Cranberry. Radial RMP PRO passive reamp.

Guitars are a blend of an Agile LP clone in Standard (Riff Raff/Stormy Monday pickups) and a Warmoth build (VHII/Trilogy Suite). Cables are Lava Clear Connect and Divine Noise. Effects are Mooer pedals before the amp.

Bass is a mid 1960s Silvertone into a SansAmp Bass Driver and Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone.

Drums and Piano are VST's.

Enjoy!

Very cool man. I like it a lot!

tones are really good! and it definitely has a heavy pink floyd influence :) I think the drums could use a bit more space/reverb/echo though, they sound very dry.

Very cool, I particularly like the lead break tone.
