Genz Benz cabs . . . are they any good ?

Re: Genz Benz cabs . . . are they any good ?

Amen bro !

Now i want to hear a 'big', 4X12 g-Flex.

You where NOT kidding when you said, 'turn down the bass knob'

Glad you're liking it... how does it sound with the TV's B channel? You know how a tad bass-heavy it can be so: awesome or way too dark and bassy?

WOW . . . it has the possibility to sound like a bass guitar !

If you use massive strings, you can make a Baritone Les Paul sound like a bass - EASY !

The B channel is now perfect for my idea of cleans (with this cab)

Nice, I wouldn't say that this is the kind of tone I'm going for with my TV but I'm glad it's working out for you!

The cleans are very nice on the B channel, so rich and deep...

I think i will keep the Thunderverb connected to it's own cab, and the 5150 is 'getting' the g-Flex.

The g-Flex is just that little bit too modern (in feel/vibe) for the Thunderverb, but really suits the 5150 to a T !

So i've been playing the whole day with my 'little' Marshall Class 5 into the g-Flex.

WOW . . . is all i can say.

That one dimensional boxy sounding amp comes alive with a room filling 2X12 like that.

Gone is the little-man-syndrome.
The Class 5 now is a BIG amp.
I think the stock Genz Benz drivers might be a fair amount more efficient than the stock Class 5 10 inch driver.

Love the tones that comes out of the Class 5/g-Flex set up.
A fair amount of increased in headroom too, but WHO NEEDS HEAD ROOM - IT IS A MARSHALL :firedevil
